I’m so nice, I decided to update the progress of all our series~

Let’s go one by one, shall we?

Brocken Blood: tbh, I just want to spam out the rest of volume ASAP – it has already been cleaned & tled, so it’s in typeset mode

CUTExGUY: gosh, the delays this series has had never cease to amaze me… it’s not like we weren’t meant to scanlate it… anywho, it’s in typesetting mode, if lucky, I might release some chaps in October

Get You: typesetting – again, I just want to spam out volumes 6&7 till I decide what to do next with this series

Happy Trouble Wedding: This series, in the long run, will be my own personal project. So while it’s slow now (because I’ve had to deal with all the other series, I haven’t had time to work on this), after everything with the other series gets worked out, this will be my main priority. Just hold on for a little longer

Hanzai: dropped

Ichigo no Gakkou: 3 more chapters to go, and personally, I will make sure they’re done. I’m going to personally clean&typeset the remainder of the volume just to get this off our active list and off my chest. My #1 priority atm

I Love HS: Ive been bombarded with questions about this one. All I can say is… well, I guess this series doesn’t like me much. You people have no idea just exactly what I went through to get my hands on the volume 1 tank – nothing anyone should ever experience. But thankfully, finally I have, and when we do end up releasing the rest of volume 1 (oh, yes, it’ll be a joint release of both chapters 3+4+omake+extras+whatever), I’ll be sure to post the most hate-filled rant in my entire life about the raw deal (gah, irritates me thinking about it). Meanwhile, I’m kind of looking for a dedicated editor for this series. The old one went bye-bye. ; ( More info on applying below.

Manyuu: Can’t say anything about this series for now.. I’ll give more word later. x3

Oniichan: Another thing I can’t say much about… but if you check out our project page for this series, you’ll see that ah – quite a few chapters have been completed by now. Hmmm, I wonder why I haven’t released… (keep in mind I updated the page 2 months ago, so hey, more chaps might be done by now ;3 Who knows?)

Room No. 1301: Another one I’ll give more word on later. There was a bit of an issue concerning the raws (er, I lost them for a few months >_>), but it’s all been sorted out nicely. It’s in the works, I just want to get out volume 1 asap. o_x

Shinrei: Like Manyuu, I won’t give out word about this one till later (sorry!)

Teacher’s Pet: This one was awful. Our cleaner for it, Fahlain, was in a car accident (hope you get better soon, Fahlain!). She had finished the cleans for the entire volume, but before she could send them over to me, she was in the accident and her brother infected her comp with a virus and well… yea, they’re gone now. I’m sorry to say I am in no rush to get this done because 1) this is Fahlain’s project and 2) I obvsly want to wait for her to get better before she gets back to working on this. She has promised, however, to redo volume 1. So please understand why there is no urgency with this one. GET WELL SOON, FAHLAIN!

Fox-Wolf: Done all we need to do for volume 1 of this series. Go ask NOIR. >.>

Wagaya: dropped

Zenbu: : D My favourite project atm. Hehehe. I have both volumes and all positions are filled for this series – but I wont release it just yet (refer to Oniichan).

Rhapsody: My fault with the whole typesetting business. XD I’ll TS this first chance I get this week~

No word on upcoming projects because… well, they’re upcoming, and you wont get word till they’re released.

I know I’m not usually the one who updates OB… but I thought it was necessary to leave a message to explain why the site has recently been erroring and blacking out (which is why some of you have been unable to access it for a few days).

I’ve been talking to my webhost and those bastards are finally managing to help me solve this problem. The reason its taken so long is because they only respond once a day and their first few responses (or lack thereof ) told me that they obviously hadn’t read the problem I took the time to write out for them.

They’ve assured me that they know what the problem is (don’t worry, OB isn’t going anywhere) and are currently telling me how to fix it. Apparently all of the forums / SQL scripts are under the same user name and it’s too taxing for that it. They need to have a different user name for each one since this site and a couple other ones hosted under this web host have gotten so big!

I’m halfway through fixing this. ^___^ I’ve added the new user names and given them their permissions to the SQL scripts. Now I just need LunarPages to tell me how to reconfigure the scripts to use their new user accounts. :3

So cheer up everyone, the crisis will be over in a few days, tops. <3

Have you ever almost had a mental breakdown and it’s just better to take a break from… everything?

I have.

I’ve been taking an unplanned break from scanlating these past few weeks. Don’t get me wrong, I still love manga and I haven’t quit (even if several staffers think I have, haha). I mean, even if *I’m* not doing any work, it doesn’t mean the other staffers haven’t been either.

I promise that when I get back to working fulltime, I’ll host a HUGE release. Like, a HIUGE HUGE release. Hopefully the biggest you’ve ever seen a scanlation group ever release. ; )

That being done…

I still need staffers! Especially QCing & editing. For QCing, please, if you’re an experienced editor (MUST have edited before! MUST!), and you have a good eye for catching mistakes (dust, unstraight pages, etc etc), I HIGHLY recommend you apply! Just click that pretty “Join Us” link in the left sidebar. ; ) (And if you’re an experienced cleaner and/or typesetter, join as an editor).

Descriptions for each job are provided in the “Join us” page, along with a pretty form you can fill out that goes directly to my inbox (that I check 50 times a day on my blackberry : D)

So er… just a few updates, since we seen to have been slow lately.

First off, Oniichan HAS gotten a translator. I got quite a number of applicants for it, and I’m glad there are people interested in it. ^^ However, don’t be dissapointed – there are still other projects of ours if you guys still wanna translate. XD Hahaha. But yes, expect that series to be moving forward quickly soon~

In any case…

I was planning to have Happy Trouble Wedding c2 out by now at the least (same with Teacher’s Pet), but my school schedule hasn’t allowed me even 1-2 hours of my the time to scan. It’s a shame, really. And a huge pain. However, you can rest assured we’ll be moving at regular pace soon, once the entire school storm dies off. Just bear with us a bit more.

Staffers have also gone on hiatus in batches. This doesn’t help any… ;_; Please apply as an editor if you’ve got any experience cleaning and/or typesetting! ;.; It’ll help loads.

…I don’t know, but I’m pondering just stocking up releases and making a mass release to make up for our slowness. if that helps you guys any…

Er… lesse… we got Zenbu Chodai c3 (whoo), and Oniichan c5.  No, goddamn it, we’re not dropping Oniichan. However, you won’t get future releases of it because our Japanese Translator for it, bakasaru87, went on an indifinite hiatus. She probably won’t be back till October, and I’m sure you guys don’t wanna wait that long for chapter 6 and up. I’ve never had to post up a recruit notice for translators before, so this is actually new… heh… If you’re interested in translating Oniichan for us, please fill our application here.

In other news… er… I put up a site counter (I don’t know why, I was just bored : D). So that should be fun. Also, Oniichan volume 1 tanko was released – if you enjoy the series, please remember to support the mangaka and buy it. ^^

APRIL’S FOOLS! THERE’S NO RELEASE!!

Haha, I’m just kidding. ;P No worries guys~ I have no tricks up my sleeves this year (sadly, maybe next year ;__;). Anyway, for April’s Fools, we have one release for you guys: Teacher’s Pet Continued, by Aihara Miki, sequel to Teacher’s Pet.

I wanna get through this volume fairly quick, so as not to delay any of our other projects too much, so expect a fairly fast pace for this series (5 chapters).

Today was actually supposed to be a double smut April’s Fools release, but I’m too tired to QC the chapter so instead I’m gonna say: too bad.

Now a few notes before I get to the download link of TP (it’s at the bottom of this post, hoho). Last release, for Oniichan 4, I had a 100 people before c5 thing. And guess what? We only reached 51 peak. So I’m gonna say one thing, and one thing only: FOR SHAME!! You better start learning to use mIRC, or imma kick you in the balls. >.> Or vaginas. Depends on what cha got. ;o

No worries, I’ll release c5 eventually. xD It was just a chance for you guys to get an early release, but you failed at it so badly. ;_; I’m so dissapointed. ;.; Now you’re gonna have to wait for my originally planned release date. >[ Of course, it would be much later, but since I know a lot of you reallyyy want chapter 5 of oniichan, so I’ll do a bit earlier. xD (I read so many comments about it, and I laughed hard at a lot of them xD NICE DETERMINATION, GUYS! haha)

MOVING ON…
