Operation Boredom is a non-profit scanlation group that brings people high-quality, unlicensed manga and doujinshi for the sole purpose of helping to promote the works of the mangaka/doujinka.
The staff of Operation Boredom believe that people would be more inclined to purchase the manga/doujinshi if they already had the translations for it and knew that they were going to enjoy it. After all, most people would appreciate being able to actually read the book they spent their money on after spending valuable time trying to figure out how to purchase it.
All of the scanlations on Operation Boredom are intended for private purposes only! Under no circumstances are any of the scanlations on this website allowed to be reproduced for sale or profit. Do NOT auction, sell, redistribute, or otherwise make available for public download or viewing. Please do not use the images on your websites, layouts, etc. without giving credit from the authors.
If any of our work should ever become licensed, please quit distributing it immediately!

Operation Boredom strongly encourages supporting the original creators of both the manga and the doujinshi. If at all possible, we wish for you to buy a copy of the item in such a way that it would directly benifit the the mangaka/doujinka.
In other words, buying the manga/doujinshi off of eBay or Yahoo Japan does not directly support the artists. Most of the doujinshi from these sites are nearly always from a second-hand source and not the artists themselves.
To support the doujinka you need to buy their works new from the doujinshi circle sites, attend a doujinshi convention and buy the book directly from the table, buying the liscenced English versions or buying them from the following websites.

Sadly, because doujinshi are fan products produced by fans, there are many ongoing arguments in opinion of the copyrights and their holders. Operation Boredom does not wish to debate the ethics of translating the doujinka’s work.
